As the Chief Operating Officer, Brian understands the challenges of building a business in the ever changing healthcare industry. His experience within healthcare technology gave him the insight to know that Datica's vision of compliant, cloud-based, and interoperable infrastructure is something special the entire industry needs. Brian is a 20 year veteran of financial and operational leadership. Immediately prior to joining Datica in 2016, he spent three years as Chief Financial Officer at Influence Health, a developer of healthcare clinical and marketing software. Prior to that, he spent six years as Corporate Controller at Epic, developer of inpatient and ambulatory electronic medical records, during which time the company revenue grew from $400M to $1.5B. A Certified Public Accountant, Brian has previously served as Finance Director at Schneider National, Finance Manager at Intel Corporation, Operations Auditor at Kimberly-Clark and Staff Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Brian is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and holds an MSIA degree from Purdue University, Krannert School of Management and a BS degree in Accounting from Bradley University.
